« View More AlbumsOnce upon a time, a long time ago.(and getting longer), Dr. Gettleman, Dr. Prentice and Sharlene Fleming, Practice Manager decided that taking really good care of children ought to be really fun. "After all," they thought, "Kids are really fun. They're creative. They love adventures. Why not build a medical facility that would take parents and kids on a wonderful journey? Where kids could play and feel comfortable while parents could rest assured that they were getting the finest medical care available."
So the three of them created Great Destinations Pediatrics. With the help of local artist De De Daus, they transformed an ordinary office into a train depot which leads you through a park or travel agency depending on the reason for your visit (separate "well" and "sick" waiting areas). When the whistle blows, kids get on board and travel to fantasy jungles, polar ice caps, and even beneath the sea to search for buried treasure. Every room is a different, delightful destination to entertain, amuse, and expand your child's imagination.
