Great Destinations Flu Clinic
Attention Parents,
We will be offering the flumist for patients 2 years and up and injectable flu vaccine for ages 6 months to 35 months. Visit our website for up to date information pertaining to the flu clinics. This year we do not anticipate a problem with the supply of the vaccines. Please note if this is your child’s first year to receive the flu vaccine, he/she will need to return for a second dose 30 days or later after the initial dose.
The insurance companies are now allowing us to bill for the flumist this year. **Please note it is your responsibility to know if your insurance pays for the flu vaccine or flumist. We ask you to contact your insurance company prior to your visit to see if this is a covered benefit.
Copayments will be collected at the time of service for all flu vaccines. Please contact your insurance company to see if you are required to pay a copayment with a nurse visit (Visit code 99211).
