Mark Gettleman, M.D. F.A.A.P.
Dr. Mark Gettleman graduated from Arizona State University in 1988. He went on to complete Medical school at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine in 1993. Dr. Gettleman completed his residency at Phoenix Children's Hospital and has been practicing in the valley since 1996. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He and Dr. Karen Prentice opened Great Destinations Pediatrics in April of 1999 to provide parents and children with the opportunity to enjoy excellent medical attention in a fun, imaginative environment.
Dr. Gettleman takes pride in the fact that many of his patients fake sick in order to come play with him. He loves relating to children, but believes that his greater role is to empower parents through education.
Dr. Gettleman spends his free time playing with his very creative wife, Debra and two amazing boys, Levi and Eli.
