Before Your Baby Arrives
We recommend calling our office a few months before your due date to get started. Here’s what to do:
Attend a Meet the Provider Night
We host a monthly Meet the Provider Night — an informal opportunity to:
- Get to know one of our providers
- Tour our kid-friendly office
- Ask any questions about newborn care or what to expect after delivery
At the Hospital?
When your baby is born, simply tell the hospital staff that you’ve chosen Great Destinations Pediatrics as your child’s pediatrician. They’ll help coordinate your baby’s care.
What to Bring to Your First Appointment
To help us make your first visit as smooth as possible, please bring:
- Any paperwork from the hospital, including hearing screen results and immunization records
- Insurance information (often only the parent’s insurance is available at the first visit)
- Diapers and a change of clothes
- Completed new patient forms
