At Great Destinations Pediatrics in Peoria, our board-certified pediatricians provide comprehensive, evidence-based care for infants, children, teens, and young adults through age 21. We follow American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) guidelines and pair them with an integrative approach that supports nutrition, sleep, physical activity, healthy screen habits, and mental well-being.

What to Expect at Your Visit
Every visit is tailored to your child’s age and stage, but you can expect:

Visit Schedule
We’ll see your baby 1–2 days after birth, then at:
- 2 weeks
- 2 months
- 4 months
- 6 months
- 9 months
- 12 months
- 15 months
- 18 months
- 2 years
- 2½ years
- 3 years.
From age 3 through 21, we recommend an annual well check. Children with ongoing conditions (for example: asthma, diabetes) may be seen more often.
Between Checkups
Call us if you notice new or ongoing concerns about growth, milestones or development. For acute concerns, we offer prompt same-day sick visits. For concerns that are chronic or more complex in nature, we offer longer consult appointments to thoroughly evaluate your child’s condition.
